Carlos Castillo
Owner
Carlos moved to the City of Gainesville in 2003 with his wife and their four children. He was an Electrical and Instrumentation technician at the Wheelabrator South power plant. He was also in charge of the Electrical and Instrumentation Department at the Montenay Waste to Energy Power plant. He spent a few years in the State of Utah working in the commercial and industrial electrical field as a Master Electrician.
After years in the electrical field he began working with trees. He enjoyed this work from the beginning, and started Evergreen Tree Company in 2005. Since then, Evergreen Tree Company has become one of the safest, most trusted companies in Gainesville. Carlos enjoys working outdoors and getting to know his customers.
Kyle Willett
Crew Leader, Bucket Truck Operator, and Climber
Kyle has been with the company since 2007. He takes pride in his work, always making sure the job site is safe and secure. In 2011 Kyle broke one of the most important company rules by marrying the owner's eldest daughter, therefore, becoming part of the family. He is now the proud father of twin girls!
Loren Castillo
Estimator
The first person you will meet from our team is Loren. She has been working with the company for a couple of years now. Started off with raking, learned her way around saws, and began accompanying Natalia on estimates. Now, Loren is officially the one you see when calling for an estimate. This lady knows her trees, and enjoys discussing the work with our customers.
Brinson Tanner
He is the one operating our all wheel steer loader and drives the truck that pulls that big dump trailer that you see on the streets of Gainesville….Was born in Bunnell, Florida. Served in the Marine Corps as a cannoneer on an artillery unit while deployed in Iraq.
Nelson Martin
Not only does Nelson know about the turf industry (6 years experience in the golf courses), He also has 5 years of experience in the tree removal industry.
If somebody needs first aid help, he would be the one to talk to. With 5 years of experience in the Emergency Medical Service as a first responder.
Nelson comes from Tampa, likes sitting by the fire and taking long walks on the beach with his family.
Cole Rivenbark
Cole is the newest member of the team.
He was born and raised in our wonderful city of Gainesville.
When he is not working with the crew, Cole will be playing or writing music.
